My pay-what-you-can porch stand was born from a single idea - the idea that I wanted to be able to share my baked goods with my neighbors without expecting anything in return - maybe just enough to keep the stand open. Being a baker right now isn't easy. Chocolate, eggs, butter and ingredients are all insanely expensive but I don't think that should limit these delicious treats to only those who can afford it. Sometimes we all need a little pick me up - even if it is just in cookie form. I'm inspired by the old take a penny, leave a penny idea. Some days we can afford more, some days, less. When we work as a community we are able to take care of everyone and that is exactly what this stand represents. 

The rules are very simple - take what you need or want, pay what you can - if you can't pay or trade anything just pay it forward - no feeling guilty or bad about participating in this community based stand! Seriously, I just want this to bring joy and happiness to everyone. Flavor and item requests are welcome!

Honestly, all I ask is to be respectful of my property and my neighbors so that I can continue to do this for a long time to come.

This stand is the heart of my business. The donations combined with pre-orders from my amazing customers keep this stand open and running. Your kindness and generosity has been overwhelming.
